LLOYD C. BLANKFEIN
Lloyd served as vice chairman of Goldman Sachs from 2002 through 2003, with management responsibility for the Equities and Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Divisions. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, he served as the firm’s president and chief operating officer from December 2003 through June 2006. Lloyd received a JD from Harvard Law School in 1978 and an AB from Harvard College in 1975. Among his affiliations with nonprofit organizations, Lloyd is a member of the Harvard University Committee on University Resources, a member of the Advisory Board of the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, an overseer of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, a director of the Partnership for New York City and a director of The Robin Hood Foundation. He resides in New York City with his wife, Laura, and their three children. |
